ARDEX OPTIMA

A premium-grade two-part adhesive with an exceptional bond. Its unique formula enables ARDEX Optima to be used over a number of difficult to adhere to surfaces.

  • Tenacious bonding – tile directly over existing tiles – no grinding back the glaze, no special primers
  • Highly water resistant
  • High initial grab
  • Highly flexible – achieves S2 classification

  • Ceramic, fully vitrified, porcelain, mosaics, natural stone (excluding moisture sensitive)

Substrates:

  • Brick and blockwork
  • Tilt up and pre cast concrete
  • Cement render/screeds, concrete, aerated concrete
  • Fibre-cement sheet, plasterboard
  • Directly over existing ceramic tiles
  • Butynol and ARDEX undertile liquid applied waterproofing membranes
  • Powder coated cladding, galvanised steel
  • Roughened fibreglass (not immersed applications)
  • Particleboard timber/plywood
